Terms of service
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms apply to every PingPong plan. By paying for a plan, you agree to them on behalf of your company.
1. Who we are
PingPong is the trade name of Corné Romme, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) in Zeewolde, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 78635969. VAT number NL003358084B92. You can reach us at corne@pingpong.studio.
2. For businesses only
PingPong is a service for companies and other professional clients, not for consumers. When you sign up, you confirm that you act for a business.
3. What you get
- Design and development work, delivered through the PingPong workspace at app.pingpong.studio.
- You add tasks to your queue as often as you like. Corné works on one task at a time, from the top of your queue, unless your plan says otherwise.
- When a task is finished, you approve it or ask for changes. Changes are included until you approve.
- Communication happens in the workspace, through comments on tasks. There are no calls or meetings included.
- We don't promise a fixed number of tasks or hours per period. How much gets done depends on the size of each task.
We can turn down a task that is outside design and development, unlawful, or far larger than a plan can reasonably cover. In that case we tell you why and, where it fits, offer a separate quote.
4. Plans and payment
- You choose a weekly or a monthly plan. Prices are shown at checkout and in Plan and billing, excluding 21% Dutch VAT.
- You pay in advance for each period. Payments are processed by Stripe, by card, iDEAL or SEPA Direct Debit. Your plan renews automatically until you cancel it.
- If a payment fails, we let you know and Stripe tries again. If it isn't settled within 7 days, we may pause work until it is.
- Prices can change. We tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, and you can cancel before then.
5. A week to change your mind
If you cancel within 7 days of your first payment, your plan stops right away and we refund the days you didn't use. This works once per company.
6. Pausing
You can pause your plan from Plan and billing. A pause starts when your current period ends, so you keep what you paid for.
- A pause for a set time (1, 2 or 3 weeks or months) keeps your spot. Billing restarts on its own when the pause ends.
- A pause with no end date lasts until you resume. Your spot goes to the next client while you're away, and if we're fully booked when you want to resume, you wait for a free spot.
- Nothing is charged while paused. Work already in progress can still be finished and approved.
7. Cancelling
You can cancel any time from Plan and billing. Your plan then runs until the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged again. A paused plan ends right away. There are no refunds for part of a period, except in your first week (section 5).
After your plan ends, your workspace is read only and your approved work stays available to download for 3 months. After that, we delete the workspace and its files.
We can end your plan with 30 days' notice, or right away if you seriously breach these terms (for example by not paying or by misusing the service). If we end it without a breach on your side, we refund any period you paid for but didn't get.
8. Your content and our work
- You keep all rights to what you give us: text, images, logos, files and your brief. You confirm you're allowed to share it with us, and you let us use it to do the work.
- Once you have paid for the period in which it was delivered, you own the work we make for you, including source code and design files, and the intellectual property rights in it transfer to you.
- Some work includes third-party material, such as fonts, icons, photos or open-source code. That material stays under its own licence, and we tell you when it needs a paid licence.
- We keep the right to reuse general know-how, techniques and small generic pieces of code that aren't specific to your company.
- We only show your work in our portfolio or marketing with your written permission.
9. How we work
Corné does the work with care and skill, using professional software where it helps. You are responsible for reviewing and approving work before you publish or use it, and for your own accounts, hosting and backups unless we agreed otherwise in writing.
10. Confidentiality
We keep everything you share with us confidential and only use it to do your work. This doesn't cover information that is already public or that we must share by law. How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy and our data processing agreement, which is part of these terms.
11. Liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event that caused it. We aren't liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, lost revenue or lost data. These limits don't apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a change that affects you takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
13. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the court of Midden-Nederland, unless the law says otherwise. We always try to solve a problem together first, so get in touch with Corné if something isn't right.
